B&F Construction Code Services, Inc. provides public school construction inspections in Illinois. We are able to provide plan review and inspection services for every discipline as required by Illinois State Board of Education Form 36-37 Confirmation of Called Inspections.

When engaged on a contract for a Public School Project our inspectors work with the school staff, designers, and contractors to ensure that the project will meet the relevant state statutes. Not only do our inspectors look at the trade(s) being inspected at the current site visit, but we attempt to anticipate construction code requirements that may hinder the schedule.

The Illinois State Board of Education has information about School Construction, including a list of ISBE Qualified Plan Reviewers and Inspectors. That list shows we are currently (May 2020) the single largest provider of school inspection services with the Illinois School Board.
